coraline overgrowth

Hello again :) So..I just picked up this beautiful 120 gallon tank but it is Over run with Coraline. I know people are trying to grown this, but this tank is bad!! I scratched the front sides and back (there is still Coraline on rocks, overflows ect. How can I safely control it in the water now...
