I'll be curious to see if it helps or not. Take a video of your reactor before and after please.

Here is the Atomic Reef reactor mod with an Avast bio-pellet mixing nozzle. I was getting good tumble with the Ecoplus 396 and a stock Atomic Reef TMR-200P but I saw this nozzle and thought it would allow me to fine tune the flow a little better.

This is the standard base plate in the Atomic Reef reactor after I cut it off:

Here is what the Avast nozzle looks like:

Here is a video (hopefully) of the flow through the reactor:

I have turned the flow down some from where it was before and a tad less from what is seen in the video (sorry no before video Ryan I had already chopped it up before I saw your post) I am pretty happy with it. To any other ecoBAK users how does the tumble seem?

Thanks.

Wow, that is a lot better tumble than what I remember seeing when I was over there on Saturday. Not sure about the tumble rate so I'm no help to ya there. Did you increase the flow from where you had it set before adding the nozzle?

The flow to the reactor is actually a little bit lower than before the mod.

That tells me the mod really does help! Will definitely consider adding mine when it comes time to add more pellets. Thanks for posting!

Here are a couple of quick FTS I took tonight after a five gallon water change:

Small fish update, I've added two permanent residents to the tank in the past few weeks. A small "Christmas Wrasse" and a "Carpenter's Flasher Wrasse", just wish I could get a good picture of these two fish as they are quickly becoming favorites of mine.

Another Wrasse man!

Good luck getting pics of those guys. They are super quick, and dont like to pose for the camera.

Sounds like we will all just have to come over and see them in person! LOL Awesome, good luck on the pics!
