12ppm RO?

People worry way too much about water last decade or so. RO is fine on most water sources.
I would argue people are also having more success now than 10 years ago. Our quality and chemistry of water likely has a lot to do with this.

Than twenty years ago for sure. Ten I think it’s hard to say. As use of social media has increased we see a lot more fails and a lot more success. What the actual percentages are there is no real way to quantify. What is certain though is that no one’s consumer filter is making Type I (18MΩ) water no less zero TDS.

Lot of people saying >0 tds is a no go. What makes you say that? Because someone else said it? What is in 12tds RO water that is detrimental to your tank? Do you know what's in 12 tds RO water? I do not argue that 0 tds water is preferable--it is, if for no other reason than minimizing 'possible' bad stuff--but I'm curious as to why people have strong opinions about RO vs RODI.

Because you do not know what that 12 tds is.
