What is the best way to quarantine wrasses? I've had troubles in the past getting them to stay alive, and I don't want to fail again.

Is chemiclean reef safe and a good way to eliminate cyanobacteria?

Chemiclean is 100% reef safe. The key is to increase oxygenation. Your skimmer may go into overtime and kick up lots of bubbles.

Also, what kind of wrasses are you trying to keep? This is quite important to know.

I can take pics and post them later for further identification, but I believe one is a Fairy wrasse and the other is a Halichores or however you spell it. One is red/orange and always looks sassy, and the other is blue/green with horizontal stripes and buries in the sand.

The fairy won’t need sand but it sounds like the others will.

Do you QT multiple fish together or singly? Hiding places?
Currently I have 2 QTs setup, one holds a Triggerfish by itself, and the other has the 2 wrasses. I use pvc elbows and other fittings for hiding spots along with the tupperware container of sand for the wrasses.

The two wrasses I was talking about.
