29 biocube controller/ led ?

I have a 29 gallon biocube cycling right now so I have some time to research a possible controller purchase and a led retro kit upgrade. I'm wondering if anyone has the basic apex controller the 525$ one and the rapidled retro kit? If so are you happy with it or should I get the light kit with the storm controller? I would like to get a controller anyway so trying to figure the best way to go. Thanks

Well I cant tell you how I like it yet, but my rapidled kit with the storm controller should be here today. Unfortunately I work 12 hr shifts for the next 9 days so going to be a bit for me to wire it up.
