The 3.5mm Jack that connects my a160 to my controller is not long enough for me to be able to move my controller to my new control board. Instead of having to replace with a longer cord and have to feed it back through the mount, can I just use an 3.5mm extension cord (female to male)? I just want to make sure that won’t cause any issues.

Thank you!

Yes, you can use an extension - just don't go more than about 20' from the controller to the lamp as the signal degrades the longer the cable is. You'll also want to purchase a higher quality cable (either the Kessil branded Unit Link Extension cable or a higher end alternative) as low quality cables can also increase the possibility that the signal degradation will show up.

Make sure you keep that connection clean (or wrap it in some electrical tape to keep it waterproof) as we've seen that as an access point for salt and corrosion which can cause issues long term.
