Hi all,
I just wanted to share a couple pics of where the 300g is at.

For those of you who don't know me I was an avid SPS guy for many years and had then evolved things into a couple different mixed reef tanks with another 16 sq.ft. of frag space. After having a kid and losing time to other business endeavors I took down the frag tanks and sold off a ton of stuff, then totally re-started from scratch in February of 2016(ish). The tank was up and properly running April of that year and then I went through a battle with dinoflagellates (Ostreopsis) that I finally beat. In April of this year I took down the 150g and got into this 300g.

It has now been up and running for 5 months.

The oldest corals are now approximately 30 months, and many of them right around 24 months (and some much younger). Everything grown from single stick frags.

I expect that the next year will be huge for the progression on many of these. I am seeing the fastest growth yet the past few weeks.

With the ups and downs of transitioning into the new tank I did lose a few frags (including my PC Superman which I was really excited about). I've dealt with some ugly algae that is now all but gone, and also am dealing with keeping my nitrates in check (they were running up near 40 and I prefer to keep it lower); but that's been relatively stable now around 25.

Overall I'm happy with where it's at.

Just wanted to share!

Thanks,
Ed
