Well the losses turned into a Cali style fire .Mass losses of my collection 70% RTN .Weird that the colors held during the RTN .Every day I would pull 2 or 3 corals out to chunk in the losses bag . One coral would be fine then a few days later take a dump . I still have to connect up the reefkeeper .Get the sand ordered before it goes oos again .
Hanging the light was a pain since the ceiling fans s plaster n not sheetrock .

More losses


I was trying to fix the garage door .Gave up n closed it manually .
The garage won n bit me good .Finger was flat as a pancake when it got mashed in the seams of the door .

Oh I got a purple shiner on the finger .Proly gonna lose the nail .
Didn't even cry .I think I was in shock when I saw my finger in the door

Yah I had to poke a heated needle thru the nail to lessen the pressure .
Pretty freaky with no pain n seeing a needle go into your finger 1/4 to 1/2 inch like that ..lol
I got the door figured out. The green sensor wire was loose, so it's good now .

Man, P! Sorry to hear about all the woes! Time to get a pitbull if you can. I have one, and my whole neighborhood knows it. LOL! He loves my kids, and all kids in general... he just hates "guys." My buddies always make sure I have him put away when they come over to get their dranky-drank awn.

Love the Mastermind, too! That thing is going to be sick looking when it grows-out!

I'm pretty shocked at how quickly your phosphates dropped, too. Wow! Good ole' GFO!

Are you going to stay bare bottom? I love the simplicity and look of a bare bottom tank, personally. I put starboard under my rockwork, when I did it, though. It was all purple in no time.

Starboard sounds like a good idea but Sheldon my conch might not like having any sand. I used aluminum oxide but haven't opened the rowaphos jar yet .

dang man sorry to hear you troubles. do you think the rtn happen because you switched from a dsb? seems like when it rains it just pours and keeps on pouring. hope everything will work out seems like your off to a good start of your collection. that mastermind is going to be a really nice piece. did you ever get a new skimmer or make your mind up? if you cant get a pit a shotgun will work just has good. usually if the person is smart you racking it will scare them off.

I hear ya on the rack approach lol. Didn't have a DSB but actually a shallow bed of fiji pink sand .Definitely bac related though .
The collection starts again .Some of the ones that made it seem odd .
No rhyme or reason at to which ones .

U know that thought is crossing my mind if this stick journey don't work out. .but Ur version of " I'll start u out cheap " is like saying I'm gonna buy a new car like a Subi n end up with a Nissan GTR ...lol

Man, sorry about your losses! I'm really liking that tank though -- very clean look. Knowing your ability to source some sweet pieces, it won't take long to get your collection back up to drool-status.

Thanks Pistol . I found it via Ebay from China . I'll send you the link via pm . I have been waiting almost a year for the shipping to come down and now it's very reasonable . I like it since they have graduations and it's easy to see how much is left .
