Any idea how to combat this? I’ve pulled it out and removed the algae but it’s back.

When my tank was covered in gha my solution (have very minimal now) was to add more snails (went from 4 to 15), added a phosguard media, and reduced feeding

Can you take those candy canes off of whatever they are mounted on. It would probably be pretty easy to do. My hammer and frogspawn popped off the plug when I cut the post to the plug.

The algae is probably pretty rooted in the rock they are on. Getting them off is the best solution IMO.
