Not a good sign to say the least, Not much you can do besides check all your parameters and make sure they are in the proper range. If it continues to receed you could cut the dying part off to try and stop the demise. I would try to use the Club Bandsaw to cut it back to healthy tissue if it keeps receeding, You have nothing to loose at that point. Most likely cause is different conditions and lighting and the stress of shipping during the Swap. JMO

Yea I've had frags do the same and if u cut off the dying parts it increases survival. Had few frags that wouldn't encrust and bottoms dying till I cut and reglued

OK, I went and bought a dip this morning. I'm gonna try that, but if it doesn't work, I will attempt to cut back the facial. Thanks guys.

It could also be a flow issue. If its getting direct flow, you might want to move it.

It was in a bit of a high folw area so I moved it and dipped it. So far it's not got any worse but I havn't seen any improvement yet either. I did see feeder testicles out last night though.

Rofl that's awsome. So umm yea it could have been to much flow. They like lower gentler flows. Keep eye on it make sure its not getting worse it should come back if that was the issue

lol.... wow.

On that more looks like a brown jelly. Happens to Lps alot and is usually a death sentence unless u can get all the bad trimmed off. I lost 3of 4 heads of an awesome frogspawn to it in a matter of a few days....

Alright guys, an update here. It looks like it has taken over a little more of the frag. So what do I need to do here? I know pickupman said cut off all the bad, so if thats what I need to do, How do I do it without hurting the frag? Would I use my drimmel and just cut through the rock and all?

Can't tell from pic since they are different angles. But at least its not brown slimy which is kinda better. Just watch carefully to see if its spreading.

I agree, it's a slippery slope once die off starts. I'd frag a chunk and put it in a friends tank that way if you lose this piece you still have some left and it's not a total loss. To many times in the past I wish I had known to do that.

Well I dipped it again in a double dose. We'll see, I've never fragged one of these, how do I do it if it's my lasy option. I have a kit and a drimmel.
