Hey, so within these few weeks I’ve noticed my phosphate levels have been low (.02-0) and today it tested 0ppm. So I was wondering if in a 24g, a Ricordea (the only recent change and only coral) can make the difference in the levels. Also I’ve noticed a white hair like stuff along with pineapple sponges (to a lesser degree) that grows in dark places in the tank, like the back chambers and in a caves. Also new algae patches are popping up recently. The tank is about 9 months old, right now I don’t have a filter sponge being used, no carbon right now, and only have a skimmer running. So what specifically is growing and should I chase after fixing this? (Also the Ricordea looks happy).
Thank you
