Hi all!

I like to quarentine my fish but I'm unsure if I should go for observational only or proactively treat with products. I've lost a couple of fish when treating with copper but never lost a fish or had any issues when just simply observing.

I couldn't find a poll on this topic so thought I'd create one to see what is most popular.

Id love to hear details of your methods!

My newbie mistake was to not quarantine. (velvet)
I nearly contaminated my display with ich by observing a Hippo Tang. (cross contaminated anyways)

So I have decided I'm going to proactively treat. Haven't yet decided on the exact protocol as of yet.

TTM every 24 hrs for 12 days with api general cure. Then two plus weeks of observation in a fully cycled tank with a black mollie.
