I also add a pinch of Reef Roids once a day to my cup that I thaw my Mysis shrimp in,, I am sure that little bit helps also,,,Feeding is Key With Acans

Yep I feed fauna Marin lps growth and color, once or twice a week I feed five scoops of reef chili and oyster feast mixed together. I don't know if it makes a different or not but I keep my calcium at 480 and my Alk at 9. I feed my acans with a pipette and I try really hard to give one pellet per head. I worry about food rotting in their stomachs. I have a couple bristle worms to, they're good detritus eaters in my opinion. I also have several brittle stars that love those pellets! It's the only time I see them lol. I'm very new to reefing and just stumbling through right now but I am having some luck so I'm gonna keep on the same path for now.I am feeding Fauna Marin twice a week to my acans,,, I have a bunch of acans , all mounted to my live rock ,, so I am putting a lot of food into the tank weekly ,,, I do a water change every other week ,, I have a Bi Colored Fox Face that keeps my tank algae free,, the only down side to my system ,, I have a bunch of those small worms in my sand bed,, the one with the little fiber optics hairs coming out of them,, they appear to not cause my sand dwelling corals ,,, Chalice's & Favias any problem ,,, I am sure their population overload is due to my acan feedings ,,, The OP says he is feeding his acans the same food I am ,, He is feeding every other day,,, my question ,,, how much do we need to be feeding our acans? I do have a few babies popping up,,, no where near what the OP is getting,,, I am thinking I need to be feeding more after reading this postI also add a pinch of Reef Roids once a day to my cup that I thaw my Mysis shrimp in,, I am sure that little bit helps also,,,
