will hammer heads and frog spawns sting/kill acans? I know they have stung my zoas and any sps that has touched it in the past but i was not sure about acans.

It would likely not be good. If the euphyllia stings the puffy outer ring of acan it will damage it. I had some get the mouth area of acan and it started to eat the tentacle. I had to cut it.

Zoas and palys have a slime coat that helps protect them from some corals.

Good to know. So by the sounds of it, euphyllias belongs with other species of its same kind and nothing else?

Just give them adequate space and you'll be fine

cginter Be careful with that statement. Most of the times it is ok, but torches can still sting hammers and frogs.
I have all of mine together and one day noticed my torch stinging the crap out my Frogspawn. Had to separate the torch, the rest of them together are still doing fine.
