Not sure if someone has any suggestions in regards to what's going on with my acans, it seems to be getting worse as it's tissue is receding and now looks very deflated. All other corals look fine so not sure what could be causing it, the only thing I can think of is that I recently added a new acan & chalice frag to the tank, but dipped both corals prior to adding them. Both acan frags (old & new) now look exactly the same deflated & receding tissue.

Where do you have it in the tank

it's at the bottom of the tank on the sand bed, I've never really moved it so it's always been on the bottom. Do you think it could be due to lighting?

Skeleton showing, not good. How long has he been receded like that?

It doesn't look receded but it's definitely deflated. This has happened to me because of lack of light, or too much light and being bothered by fish. In all cases I was able to get them back to health.

I would get it off bottom from sand and assure its in the path of moderate flow and they prefer lighting heavy in blue and require feeding at least 2x per week

Probably a few weeks now but I only noticed it the other day.

You haven't by chance used NoPox or anything lately?

Funny you should ask, yeah I've recently started dosing nopox to try and combat nutrients

I haven't tested mag yet just waiting for my test kit to arrive, I've tested everything else and other than no3 and po4 being a bit high everything else is ok

Do you have any other stony coral. Guarantee it’s mag.

Yeah for the most part I've only got lps I've got 1 favia, 2 chalices, 2 Duncans, 2 hammers and the only sps is a turbinaria frag, they're all doing ok not noticed any changes. Hopefully the test kit will arrive today or tomorrow and I'll be able to test my mag

What Katrina said has got me thinking though could it be the nopox?

I think your mushrooms would look unhappy if it was the Nopox. I use Nopox as well, no issues. I use small doses though, 3 ml for my 90gal.
Were you ever able to feed the acans some mysis? Before they retracted

I dose nopox by Red Sea every other day st 1 m/l for slgae and phos control. It’s safe if used correctly
