I was looking at my fish and found that my Achilles Tang has developed an odd marking on his tail. I have had him for about 3.5 years in fact I've had all my tangs for at least 3 years. I follow super strict QT on all fish and corals so any spots are not on the fish. First pic was taken on 7/13/20 the others were today

I had that happen with my Achilles as well as with a gem tang. Never did figure out why and eventually both returned to prior coloration.

So far he is the only one, I would probably freak out if my Gem Tang had something like this happen but now I won't. My white tail bristletooth rarely has a white tail anymore but thats nothing new. He will randomly change from a white tail to a brownish tail throughout the day.
