Add algea?

So my abalone removed my snail guard to get at the hair algae in my overflow and I had a turbo die recently (starvation?)
I can only assume there isn't enough nuisance algae for them and the other cuc in my tank. Any recommendations for me?

or this. its the thick Kelp. Nori dissolves too fast imo.
