They are up on 2” concrete risers to lift them off the bottom, and to provide a flat base

Nope. They have zero movement and can’t fall .

So, Nemma crammed herself further into the crevice, to the point you can’t see her unless you stand on the couch. Been there a week. I literally can’t see her foot since it’s surrounded by rock and I can’t see her mouth.

Tempted to prod her out and see if she’ll go somewhere else. Bad idea, right?

Locations like that is where my LTAs usually end up. Most I have been lucky enough for them to be visible.

One thing I can suggest is to give it time. They grow pretty quick, and it will be no time before you will have full view of the nem. Also, prodding out is never a good thing.

I really wanted that sloped rock to be my micromussa garden. Plans change I guess . I’ll leave her be and see what happens

When it comes to nems and them finding a home, plans never go like you wanted lol. My 18" haddonis settled right where the zoa garden was planned lol. It is now on the other side of the tank and the wife likes that area better.

Ok, so very overdue for an update.

Not good, sadly.

While on vacation (aug 3-18), Nemma went walking and got herself jammed way down into a rock crevice in the hardest part of the scale to reach. In fact, it took close to 2 weeks before I was sure that’s where she was. Once I confirmed where she was, I tried spot feeding and voaxing her out, but to no avail. She looked completely bleached, very much reduced in size and I didn’t think she was going to make it.

Anyway, with work travel and sick babies, I just got a chance to break down some of my scape and pull her out. She’s now in her own 10g hospital tank, in a small pot of sand. Hoping with some TLC I can coax her back and help her regain some colour.

Do the plan is to spot feed and lots of tic.

Anyone know if I put an RBTA on one of those rocks, they’ll share zooxanthella and the LTA will regain colour?
