I just moved my 14g nano to my 40g cube, and have a pair of clowns, wheelers shrimp goby, and six line wrasse. I am looking for another couple of fish to put in qt first then in the tank. Maybe a few firefish? Any more ideas?
Thanks

I really like my pajama cardinals and royal gramma

I was going to get a royal gramma, but they had missing scales/injuries from transport. In the past, it also killed one of my clowns, but maybe a couple Bangaii cardinals if not pajamas

I wouldn’t do a few firefish for a few reasons. First of all, the six line wrasse would most likely bully them and you wouldn’t see them much. Second, firefish don’t do well in groups and will fight each other. I have seen this firsthand and have had to relocate firefish because of it.
I agree that a royal gramma would be nice. I have one in my tank with clowns and it is fine with them. I would also recommend hawkfish.

I know that but thanks for the advice.
I don’t think I’ll get one until the tank is old so I don’t have to buy copepods every week

Scooter Blennies, dragonets or a mandarin would suit your tank I’ve hand a scooter blenny from day one he adapted to eating mysis shrimp and flakes/pellets. Try to find a tank raised one from the LFS. If not wait until you have a well established cope colony.
