I’ve had this torch for two weeks now, and for the last two days it has not looked good. Hasn’t extended much. Any clue what is going on with it? Any advice on what I should do? I was planning to do a dip to see if anything comes off. Should I use Bayer or revive? I have zoas, torches, hammers, frogspawn and shrooms that are all doing fine. Only other issue is a Duncan that won’t open, but it’s been like that since I got it. Planning to give that a dip as well. Both of these frags came at the same time along with another torch that has no issue. Thank you in advance for the help And advice. Still new to corals so I don’t know much about them when it comes to issues. Tank has been up 9 months, lighting is t5 hybrid only running t5’s currently 2 coral+ and 2 blue+, my params are:

1.024 sg (Hanna)
0 amm (Red Sea)
0 nitrite (Red Sea)
5-10 nitrate (Red Sea)
8.1 ph (Hanna)
449 cal (Hanna)
9.6 alk (Hanna)
O.11 phos (Hanna)

Only difference from a week ago I noticed is my nitrate has dropped from around 15, and phosphate has increased from 0.08

Hard to tell and honestly could be different things.

A dip will help and either of those you mentioned will work.

If nothing comes off it could be the swings in parameters possibly.

Sometimes moving it can help. Different light and/or flow. But also, they are prone to brown jelly disease (BJD). I like to dip in iodine and sometimes it helps.

Thanks for the replies, I moved it to low flow side of tank to see if that helps. If no change then I am going to give it a dip tomorrow morning. I only have revive and Bayer atm, lugols is on the way. It’s getting this clear bubbling right at the top, I took some more photos so you can try and see it a bit better.
