I have friendly but somewhat shy scribbled that is a bit more than 4" in my display tank that has been there for a few months. She will eat out of my hand but tends to hide a bit. She wasn't so shy before I rehomed the naso tang that was getting too big.
I received a second scribbled today now in the QT tank that is about 1/2 the size of the one I have in my display tank.
Even though she is shy, I am guessing that if I put the smaller in a tank with the larger, the larger will bully the smaller since this is an established territory.
So I am thinking of the following choices and a recommend would be great:
Put the larger in the QT in a few weeks to see how they get along. It would be easy to catch either one since the tank is smaller with less rocks. Leave them together for a few days, put the smaller in the display tank for a few days and then the larger.
or
Put the smaller in an acclimation box for a few days and see how the larger responds.
I think the worst action would be to just put the smaller in the display.
Would love your advice.
Thanks,
Bob
