Does anybody have any experience using a dosing pump to supply AF-Ls from say something like a kalkslurry mixer?? Basically is automated dosage of this product possible?

I have been using ot for over two years. As this stuff is muddy, I would not dose it via doser but manually

This is not mud just for your refugium. This mud you can actually disperse into your tank through flow.
I misspoke then! What's the product they sell that comes in the bag that's refugium mud?

I checked, it is the same, but I haven't used or seen it since the issues with metal in it popped up. So it's been a few years since I've seen it. I've always thought it to be refugium mud, so you're telling me you guys are "dosing" this stuff into your tanks?

It’s purpose is dosing. Not refugium substrate.

It’s quite literally ocean mud taken from Fiji. It simulates temporary turbid conditions sometimes present on natural reefs.

It's refugium mud. It's wet mud. It's for your sump. You cannot "dose" mud. ...Did you watch Ryan's BRS video?
I did but I have also seen other videos, where you effectively take your weekly dose dissolve it in tank water and administer to the tank. If diluted enough, I don't see why you couldn't dose it. But I appreciate the input from people with real life experience of the product

i use it as part of the larger AF method.

I have a young tank so I can’t say for sure if it does much, but I’m going to keep doing it because it’s part of the plan. I certainly haven’t noticed any negatives with its use.
