This is turning out to be the tank build from hell. So I noticed my AI Prime is very touchy when I move the power cords around. I bought this fixture used and when I wiggle around the power cord the light sometimes shuts off then back on. Didn’t bother me. Finally got the light to connect to the app and I set it up a few days ago. Came back this afternoon and everything was off when it should have been on. Light was still green but it wouldn’t follow the schedule and it wouldn’t allow me to control manually. Reset it and reconnected and I still can’t get anything to turn on. Any suggestions? If it ends up needing to be sent to AI I’m going to go buy a new one.

+1 these units are very easy to take apart and service. Sounds like a bad solder joint on the mains connector. You could always try a new power supply too.
Contact AI and see if they can make any suggestions.
A replacement part could be a lot cheaper than a new fixture.

Personally I would take it to bits and see if there’s something silly wrong, like a dodgy solder joint.
Not super proficient with stuff like that. I’d most likely buy a new one and send the old one to AI for repair then sell it. Won’t do that until after the holidays though

4 screws, seperate the hosing and look at the board where the power supply connector is. It would possibly be loose from the boards solder joint.
$20 solder kit from HD to repair.
It could be something completely different though.

Maybe I’ll take a look at it this weekend and see if that’s the issue. The “AI” light tends to flicker when I turn it on so it could be loose.

Ha!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one that did this.

Push the inline power coupler in the cord together really hard. It like pops together to hold really tight. It will connect before the click but not very well.
