Okay I need help really bad. The algae on my acrylic walls is really bad I been scrubbing it off every week and it just grows back I have 2 mp60s and a gyre 150 on the opposite side of the mp60s I havent feed my tank in 3weeks I have 4 xr30w pros gen 3 only running 7 hrs a day also have gfo and carbon running I am at a loss for what to do. Should I up my clean up crew? I have some nas. Snails 2 turbos some red leg crabs in a 250 gal tank (I will test and post my prams tomorrow) but does anyone know what it might be? Its hard to get off with my flipper max.

Can we see a full tank shot please. Its hard like coralline?
You haven't fed the fish for three weeks?

No I can remove it with my fingernail but I have to manually go in and remove it my flipper scrubber isn't strong enough. I am at work I will post a full pic of my tank when the lights get on

It's just film algae. Even established tanks get them. I wish I had the cure lol
Two turbos seem really light for algae cleanup in a 250 gal. I would up it to 5 at least. I have 2 in my 40 and they're able to keep film at bay for the most part.

It can be yes.
Mine forms a light thin fluffy layer and if I don't wipe it off within a few days (with the nano mag or a sponge) it turns into a harder more circular film algae. That's the part I have to scrape with a razor.

It's not a bad thing. It's normal. At least always has been for me lol don't freak out. I know people who have to wipe the glass every day to avoid it. I just razor every week and it seems to work.
