Hi guys
I have this algae issue can't get rid of it, is not hair algae, slime algae or bubble algae; I have looked extensive for something to compare to and I can't find what is it
My values are (and they are pretty constant)
PH: 8
NO3: 0
NO2: 0
NH4: 0
KH: 2.9 meq/l (8.2 DKH)
CA: 460
The tank is about 5 months old
I'm thinking on buying a GFO reactor as I read it would help with this or a algae scrubber
Any help would be appreciated
Thanks

Rocks wont stay nice bright white if that is what you are concerned about. They are becoming "alive " and will host all sorts of life. The longer the rocks are in the system you may see all different color shifts. From the brown diatom bloom, to crazy stringy long hair algae , to short turf algae and the green stuff you have now. As coralline algae gets introduced into the system it will start to take over encrusting and growing over the rock giving your reef that mature look.
