Algae on live rock

What are the actual steps for it? Do I have to put them in water? How do I do it
If you don't care about the rock just put a very generous amount of peroxide into a 5 gallon bucket with the rocks and some water. After you do that, dry the rock and leave it out for a day or so and you're good to go.

Would we need to cure the rock after this point?

Short answer. Yes. However a mature system can digest small amounts as compaired to system size. And it would advisable to scrub off as much organics as possible with a brush

Easy method even for live rock we want to continue using.

Remove live rock, target tip scrape remove with a kitchen knife the implanted algae, metal detailing removes it all, pour over clean saltwater and rinse off

Now it's algae free no chems

Last step, add direct drops of peroxide to former anchor spots you've already cleared. Let burn two mins, set rock back in tank that much isn't harmful into any system. Fact: no live rock detailed in this manner can ever be taken over by bad algae, ergo it's perfect. How many times you have to repeat doesn't matter, clear is clear just will it.

To reduce repeat work: deep clean your reef, rocks and sand, of cloudy detritus.
