Alkatronic pH probe replacement?

I’m researching the Alkatronic device and was wondering if you have to use a proprietary pH probe, or can you use any brand of probe?

I'm quite sure they do not use a proprietary probe, instead its a lab grade probe from Atlas scientific. On some youtube videos you can see the probe still got the text "Atlas Scientic" all over it...
