Hi all
Would appreciate your feedback. Anemone got caught in powerhead and is now moving around, but looks very bloated.

Should I take it out?

awl im sorry to here dont no if u should take it out or not sorry im new at this but did want to say sorry for the poor anenome

Looks fine to me, they'll swell up like that sometimes. He could be moving around looking for a better spot. I had one of mine do that recently and the next day it split into two. I would just leave it alone.

Thanks for the answer

What's the risk if it breaking or starting to slime? Can it really crash the entire tank?

I have been keeping Nems (have 8 now) for several years and I agree with Ygon. Nem looks fine to me.
As for causing a crash, I have heard that but never seen it happen.

If it was dying yes I would remove it. Usually they'll look like they are melting when that happens, that doesn't look to be your case but keep an eye on it.

Thanks for the replies... Kinda hard to keep an eye on it. Sitting inkenya on business. Good thing my wife is at home.

She's shut the powerhead a off until it settles again. There is still some flow from the return pump

I've reduced the flow drastically already. It was doing just fine, but the it cooled off in the house and the aq. Maybe it didn't like that... :(

I would keep an eye on that Goniopora the new was sitting on, make sure its ok and didnt get stung by the Nem.
