Anemone Lovers Thread!

Got tired of waiting for the LFS so I picked this one up at RAP last Saturday for $15. It spent the first 4-5 days hiding upside down in a cave, then ended up where it’s at now. I’ll give it some time to see if it stays so I know if my torches need relocating.

"Anemone dominate" Love it. How many and how many different nem species do you have?

I have my BTAs on an island

But they do change, depending on tank. This was my RBTA in my nano:

Then when I transferred it to my current tank:

Then it lost its bubbles :-(

And this was my widow when I first got it! So cute!

And it grows big

And I love RFAs

And especially RFA babies!

Those are gorgeous RFAs! I have 2 and Im always looking for some new phenomenal ones. WWC had some absolutely beautiful ones for a bit but they are a little spendy. Not like Marine Collectors spendy but still expensive. I also have a black widow but its still young. I have a Copperband Butterfly I just got and Im a little nervous about it in with my anemones but so far it has left them alone in exchange for brine shrimp.

A few of my Anemones, RFAs, white bubble tips, carpet anemone, and a black widow.

What are the names of these anemones? Are they hard to keep?
The first pic is a close up of my Colorado Sunburst BTA. Very easy to keep.
The second two pics are of some of my red/fuscia long tentacle anemones. Moderately easy to keep.

How big do those LTAs get? And do they split and move about like BTAs?

If you mean me, I have 15 Magnifica, 9 LTA's, 3 sebae, countless rainbow BTA's, and a few rock flowers scattered around. Soon, I'll be adding another 3 small sebae and 3 more spectacular LTA's over the next couple of weeks.
3 gigantea, if they survive quaratine/treatment, will also be added soon. I'm trying to space these new additions to the display tank over a period of weeks. I haven't added any new nems since I consolidated all my small tanks into this one larger tank, so it's time. :).
I will be moving out most, if not all, of the SPS and LPS corals as the nems continue to fill this 360 gallon. It's becoming too stressful worrying about the corals getting stung as they grow and the nems grow. I'm also adding an additional 100 gallons of water volume this week and increasing the size of my pellet reactor hoping to keep up with the anemone bio load. I also have 2 large skimmers running 24/7. 20% water changes every weekend.

Nexus LTA. 1/1.
