Anenome help

Anemone are not really "coral" they are more on the invert side.
When i acclimate, i drop the back in the tank and temp acclimate. while the bag is in there adjusting to temp, every 15 minutes i use a baster to put my water mixed with the water it came in. I do this for about 2 hours to be safe, if I have nitrates or phosphates, which i do, i know a 2 hour acclimation will get it used to it. towards the end of the 2 hours i start putting 2-3 baster full of water instead of just 1 like in the beginning.
nitrates of 190 sounds crazy... i don't doubt you that they are high but 190 is crazy... I suggest testing carefully and if you are still getting such a high number buy a different test to make sure. Then number 1 thing is work on lowering that number... if it takes weekly water changes, do that.
Again don't be scared to try again but try to identify that number correctly and if the nitrates are that high you an be sure phosphates are high too.
Check those numbers... if they are ok, then next time do a longer more careful acclimation.

Trex is right on the money, R2R is an excellent resource site. you can find all you need here in the anemone forum to go at it again! best of luck and sorry for your loss
