I just got an anthia in 2 days ago and he has been hiding under a rock, wedged in there on his side a bit. he hasn't eaten anything since I got him and whenever he comes out to swim around, which isn't very often, he swims alright at first but stays near the bottom and hangs near the edge of the tank. after a while he sometimes swims completely vertical with his head facing down towards the sand. he once tried to swim to the very top of the tank but only made it about 3/4 the way up then appeared to be stuck in place. he then came back down and hid under the rock again. I don't see any visible signs of parasites or discoloration but he won't eat and definitely is swimming weird. any help on figuring out what this could be would be much appreciated.

I was worried that might be the case. I’ve read the only way to fix this is by venting the swim bladder, however I would prefer not to do this unless I absolutely have to as it seems risky to me. Should I wait a while and see if it gets better or is this something that needs urgent care?
