Im in the early planning of my 180g build. I have 5 radion g3 pros that i plan to mount in a floating canopy, possibly with some supplememtal t5s. Buying individual radion diffusers is gonna ding the build budget quite a bit.

So im curious if anyone has found a solution with 2x4 diffusers for grow lights or some type of frosted acrylic? I think it would add a clean look to a floating canopy, hiding everything inside. I just dont want to kill my par too much since this will be a sps dominant tank

Thanks for any input

Basically and thin acrylic with a very very slight diffusion.
I found a clear shelf liner that has a light diffusion in fact. Stuck it to the acrylic.

Ill have to find me some of that. I hope to find a 2x4 sheet, or figure out how to diffuse it myself so i can notch the canopy so it slides in like the shield of a t5 fixture.

Just use acrylic or Lexan that has been sanded on one side.
