Saw a couple ads for an aquarium controller named Felix and wondering if anyone else was using it? Advertised as Open Source Hardware and Software, also states integration of any smart device; such as pumps, lights, heaters.
Looks like you have to replace (buy) slides every month but I did t see a mention of cost.
From website:
“Monitor your water quality and light parameters with ease and never worry about calibrating. Simply change your slides every month to receive the most accurate readings. Measures pH, Ammonia, temperature, water level, LUX, kelvin and PAR.”

I have not seen it for sale any where yet. Would expect sales in Europe first as that is where the company is based.

Thanks for pointing that out. Looking at the site on the Shop Now page shows they are selling as Pre-order right now for both Europe and North America with a delivery expectancy on or before May 31, 2020. The advertised listed price points aren’t far off from Neptune and GHL but require a recurring 35.99 monthly slide cost. However, the limited time “pre-sale 40% off” deal may be one of the constant sale tactics many US stores do for the appearance of saving.

At least the flagship model does come with a underwater camera that is VR google ready according to the literature.... like I wanna face to face conversation with my bristle worms!
