First noticed something weird going on with it last night when it shut my lights off an hour early. I didn't bother to check but this morning I noticed it was after 10 and my lights haven't came on yet. I checked and my 2 eb8 and the brain were flashing amber. I tried connecting through fusion and the old site but couldn't. I restarted it through the display but now I get nothing on the display. The brain has a solid green but eb8 still flashing amber. I tried unplugging power to them but still flashing. I think they're in fallback mode because everything critical is running.

I can't connect over the router or directly to the brain. Since there's no display I can't be certain if the IP is still the same. I've also tried forcing the firmware which I believe was successful - it showed erasing memory, then sending blocks 1 to 120 and then a successful message. But still nothing on display after reboot. I don't see it in my router's list of clients either.

Anything else I should try? Or is it toast?

I take that back on the force firmware. I tried just any IP address and it still said successful. Does this mean it was really successful or was it not?

Just had the same thing happen to me, apex classic. Called Neptune to open up a repair order. They send an email on some diagnosis. I sent my base unit to them for further diagnosis. They replaced an IC. Cost me $75 for the repair. You have to reprogram it. Quick turn around. They got on a Wednesday, I authorized repairs Thursday, got it back the following Monday. Don't sweat the coding if it's an older unit. Mine came back with the newer programming version.
