Apex Controller EL worth it?

Hello, again, my next question is: Is the apex controller el or apex controller worth it? I was thinking about gifting it for myself, but I started to think about how useful it is. The energy bar and light controller is kind of what I’m really after, but what can else can the apex do?

Unless you have a Neptune SKY it's somewhat limited in controlling lights (other than turning the outlet on and off). You can do a lot of stuff with the Apex, from testing your water, dosing, monitoring flow and par, controlling your pumps and wavemakers, etc.
