the reset didn’t work. I submitted a ticket.

@vetteguy53081 How do I check Wi-Fi setting on fusion if I’m not connected?

I’ve only used the apex app on my tablet never have used a computer Not sure if this matters. This is what I see

I need to go to work so I’m going to have delayed responses.

i Wanted to share one thing. But don’t think it’s relevant. I was able to view fusion this morning because it’s one of the first things I do when I wake up. Gotta check that ph! So it was connecting fine.

I decided to go into the mobius app and try to tweak my lights a bit I was in my bedroom and too far but I was still connected to one of two mp10s. I attempted to “connect directly” to my lights and still didn’t work or connect.

I went downstairs and noticed my lights weren’t on and not connected. Pumps were running.

Cycling through colors like that usually means there is a severe hardware issue in the head unit. If you didn't have this plugged into a surge protector, a lightning strike or something could easily have fried a component in the head unit.

That doesn’t sound good. But I was able to connect this morning. We haven’t had rain since February.

You can try to access it via local network. Do you remember with the ip address is? Or can you login to your router at home and look at the device list?

I believe that is what he was referring to.

Check your modem for listed devices and assure Neptune and/or fusion is on the list of devices
Try resetting modem also if you had power outage

I don’t know what the device would be called on my router. The only one I see that is not familiar is GEmoduleb9c9

Heading to work. I’m willing to do a complete factory reset when I get home. How do I do that exactly?

i have a very busy week and I’m leaving for 4 days. No one home. Need to resolve this tonight.

Would I follow this link to unlink and reset my apex? I’m assuming if I do this I start over and lose all data, commands, graphs?

You may

I really appreciate your help. Once I unlink I just go back into start up for each module?

thanks again. I hope to get this resolved tonight
No problem. Set up each outlet again IF info lost and write it down in a notebook so you have your setting information recorded.

Well I removed my apex from fusion and attempted to restart but didn’t get very far. In the end I’m not able to connect to Wi-Fi. I can’t get the light to turn blue. It flashes all the colors but blue.

I even took the cover off the apex to ensure I was hitting the reset button properly. I tried pushing it for 6 seconds and nothing. All it does is go thru flashing colors of green purple white/yellow.

super disappointed ☹️

tomorrow im going to the local fish store and buying a new one. Tomorrow is the only day I can get this fixed. I really hope Neptune @NeptunePaul takes care of the issue. the unit is only 7-8 months old.

Well I picked up a new apex brain at the LFS. I tried one more option that Neptune told me about. Power the apex base to a different power source to ensure the issue wasn’t coming from the eb832. it didn’t work.

i Plugged the new apex in and within 30 seconds my account was created.

it took me about 4 hours to reconnect all the modules. Everything is calibrated and humming along.

huge piece of mind.

Neptune said i need to send in the apex for diagnostics.
