Hello reefers!

Ive been in this hobby for a little over a year now. I have a 20 gallon and a 29 gallon.

Im currently planning my build for a 75 gallon tank. I want a mixed reef. I plan or having t5 lighting and want to use probes.

Now here is my question. Which controller is good for controlling lights and probes. Not tryimg to go super crazy with dosers and what not but just the important stuff.

Which do you use and why?

For controlling lights heaters and fans it is hard to beat $120 for the rkl. Apex is a good unit but if you are keeping it simple rkl will be fine

Apex is by far and away the best, but as the above post mentioned you can't beat the Rkl for controlling lights and heaters.

Thank you all so much. I want to monitor ph and orp as well as salinity, temp, lights, and cooling fans.

Alton, where did you find the unit for 120$?

You will need the reef keeper lite plus for all the probes, minus orp. Come with 2 pc4. Marine depot has reefkeeper lite exclusive comes with ph and temp probe. 1 pc4 for less money
