Aptasia outbreak??

I would like to say that although it does look like a pineapple sponge on the outside of the tank picture, it does NOT look as such inside. The fact that it's attached to the glass in a parallel way, and not perpendicular (for example) makes the possibility of it being a sponge less likely. It resembles the way some kind of slug or nudibranch would attach itself. So...basically telling us if it moves when inside the tank would pretty much clear that up.

I will use a dry erase marker to Mark where they are currently at

UPDATE:

I used a dry erase marker and marked all the "specks". 24hrs later, 12 of the 16 that I marked are still in the same place..... the other 4 are gone, no other "specks" on the glass.
