Hi Guys

Does anyone use these controllers apparently there mire expandable then an APEX, but I'm not super tech savi?

were just not getting much bites, I wonder why,? The product apparently is more expandable and easier to use, yet not many in the hobby use it. Perhaps because its not made in the USA? I wonder if its a case of unreliability or support.

The controller is super new, but the Alk tester has been out for a whlie and its users really enjoy it. From what I understand, it can integrate into Apex so that can delay moving into its own ecosystem as well. Finally, the controller market is a niche of a niche with 2 current players, 1 false starter, and 1 defuct but devices still in operation... maybe more.

What the Aquatorica is new, no its not, its been around for more then 3 years that I know of. manufactured out if Italy if I'm not mistaken. Working in Service for a manufacturing company first year is new as I know it.

So whats on the market at the moment, Apex and GHL and Aquatronica there are no large expandable controller is there?

Wrong product/manufacturer.

I had an aquatronica controller, but that was probably around 2008. It felt like I was constantly changing the modules/plugbars due to faults, but in hindsight it was 3 or 4 items over the space of a year...which is quite a high failure rate imo.

I switched out for a GHL, dabbled with an Apex Classic (or Apex) as it was just called when released, but soon reverted to GHL and have used ever since.

To be honest, I thought Aquatronica had gone out of business before seeing your post, but a quick google shows them still running. Looks like they have a new touchscreen controller nowadays, but the plugbars and modules look (at least externally) the same as they did 10 years ago.

I don’t imagine that aquatonica will be any more expandable than Apex or GHL, it just depends on what you’re looking for I guess.

I only have one system it may eventually have 2 other displays attached to it but essentially it will be one system.

GHL might be the direction I may head
