Aqueon Optibright Remote Issue

Has anyone had any issues with the aqueon Optibright remote note working? Not controlling the light? If so, thoughts on reconnecting it?

I am having the same problem the remote lights up when I hit the buttons like it should but no reaction from the light itself
I would also love an answer to this question
I have scoured the internet with no results

Had the same problem unplug the small circular plug instead of the one in the wall after that mine started working

Hi guys.

I have the same problem and here is what Aqueon answered me. It doesn't make any sense for me. Also it didn't work for me either, but you guys can try it out.

disconnect the small round connection in the line . Reconnect and it should work. I did for me .
