Hello folks,

My tank is a little over 6 months old, and I’m trying to populate it with pods. I’ve got a green mandarin, and it’s looking a little skinny, so I’ve added several bottles of Tibsee pods, but am not sure that they are multiplying. I can see them on the glass during the day. But this night I went and turned off all the pumps and with a flashlight, shined over the tank, and I could see some “pods”, but I’m unsure if they are really pods, or something else. I’ve had hydroids before and another tiny jellyfish thing that I can’t remember the name. These look to me more like a shrimp then a tibsee pod. I’ve added live brine shrimp in the past, but was under the impression that they wouldn’t reproduce in the tank. So I’m looking for some clarity on this, I know my close up videos are hard to see with clarity the subjects, but it was the best I could do with the phone and just one hand. You can’t see them so close or that much in focus but you can see how they dart around, maybe that can tell what they really are, and if they are pods, what kind.

Thanks a lot!

Happy Holidays!

Yes on pods
They’re free food for fish and coral and are to fish what a juicy steak is to us
