I bought this fixture about 1 month ago for my soon to be upgrade. I have the 48" 8 bulb fixture and chose 5 Blue+, 1 Fiji Purple, and 2 KZ New Generation. I ran the fixture in my garage for the recommended 50hrs., so when I set up my new tank, I can start using the dimming function right away. I like the look this combo gives over an empty 150g, but I do have other bulbs I can play around with (Aquablue Special, more Fiji Purple, Daylight).
Anybody running this fixture and want to offer their opinion on my bulb combo, or what you are running.
I would also like to know what bulbs I should place where, since only 2 bulbs are on one channel and the other 6 are on the other channel. What would be best for setting up a dawn to dusk?
Haven't ran t5 in a while. Been running LED fixtures.
