The first of these pumps I had lasted about 2.5 years. The replacement lasted about 6 months and it’s replacement lasted less than 3 months. Both replacements showed motor still running but less and less ability to pump water any distance.
Being curious at why they were failing I cut and removed the casing from the pump. I found that the small white impeller was a press fit on the motors shaft that was slipping. On the next pump I plan to add a small drop of gel super glue to the shaft impeller, which can be easily reached thru the intake opening. Hopefully this will stop the premature failure . Any one else have this issue?

Are you referring to the blue and white pump on the Tunze ATO? Sorry your having that problem if it is a Tunze. I have one that has run for 6-7 years no problems, it has even run dry over the years.

How far are you pumping? Maybe it is to far for the power if the small pump and gave out? Just a thought

No motor runs just fine. The . impeller is just a press fit on shaft that when running slips on the shaft causing poor pumping ability.

I see what you mean. I never pulled mine apart so not sure how it’s put together

Not sure what is causing the issue. Hopefully someone may have run 8nto this issue to help.
