ATS screen peach/orange

I'm not getting particularly good growth on my ATS screen. The outsides seem to have good green growth but the center is gooey orange. Is this just an issue of too much light? Uneven water falling? Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Bump. Anyone have any thoughts? It's not like a brown algae or something, it's like a peach orange goo. I'm going to try turning down the lights some I guess since it obviously grows well at the edges.
