Hello.

I purchased the AutoAqua Smart awc + and I can't figure out how to program it.

I have a 15 gallon nano reef tank build and I want to do 1 water change every day.

I do not have the auto top off hooked up. Only the two pumps for the auto water change.
Manual mode works beautifully but I need it to be automatic.

How do I program it to do just 1 water change a day everyday?
Can I set it to do the water change at a specific time every day?

Your help is very much appreciated.

Thank you

I have nothing close to this set up. #reefsquad

I hope somebody has some knowledge for you!

I was thinking about bout getting one, and watched the videos. link I thought that all one had to do was program in times and days, the set the sensors for the amounts to change.

I figured out how to program it.

If you are thinking about getting one, stop thinking and get it!
This is a game changer!

One of the best investments I've made for my reef by far!

For anyone interested...

This unit is a beast!
Easily one of the best investments I've ever done for my reef.

The programming is simple. It's similar to programming a doser.

00 for everyday.
1 for 1 water change a day.

Set it up at whatever time you want the water change. Their is no programming the time. It's a countdown timer.
Set it up at 6pm and the countdown starts for the 24 hour period to 6pm the next day and every day after that.

Place the sensors where you want.
The i'ts a sensor to stop the draining pump and another sensor to stop the filling pump.

Curious what you think of this? I'm interested in getting one.

I absolutely love it!
It works flawlessly and makes reef life easier by far.

If I had a way to store large amounts of water, I would use it on my 110 gallon without a doubt or worry.

@Dj City I'm hoping to use one of these in my new tank. Do you think I can get away with a small resevoir? I was thinking 10 gallon sized for refill on the 8th day. Planning on 1 GPD. That gives me a little wiggle room.

Absolutely!
I am using a 20 gallon long for a reservoir and it works out great.

I think you will love it.

Mind if I hit you up for questions when I get mine? I'm going to learn on my tank before putting one on my son's.

What are you doing with your waste water ? Do you have it filling a container or is it straight to a drain ? I’m asking because I’m thinking about getting one for my innovative marine 30l. My concern is that if your not on top of dumping the waste water it will end up on the floor. Does this thing have a way of shutting off if whatever your draining it into is full?

I have mine draining to outside my house. I cut a hole to the window screen and it just drains fo the outside.

The is no way that I know of to get it to stop draining of a container gets full unless you do like a float switch such as what you can use with a rodi unit.
Don't know if that would work but I don't really see why it wouldn't.
