I have a 180 gallon tank, 220 gallons total.
I am setting up an AWC with an apex DOS.
I have a few questions:
1.) How much water can the DOS pump a day?
2.) How much water should I change each day?
3.) How big of a AWC tank should I get?
4.) Should I get a brute trash can or an actual tank for potable water?

The answer is easy (if you use IO salt). Get a pair of 50 gallon brutes, mark the level at which a 50 gallon bag of salt (from the 200 gallon box) mixes up to 1.025/6. There's a LOT to be said for convenience. 46 gallons run though the DOs over a two week period should be fine; heck you could do it over four.

I have a 180 also. I change 1% each day (not with a dos, but liter meter 3). I went big and bought a 105 gallon tank. I mix up IO and it lasts me a month or two. I mix it, then let it sit without extra stirring. Been doing this for about 6 months. Great so far, after doing them by hand for 25 ish years.
