The colors in this one don't show up nearly as well under the whites.

I really liked the acid rain bta's frost had. They are awesome.

Would have picked one up if I didn't already have 4 bta's in the tank.

So after lights out tonight, the nem did this, for the first time.

Here's a zoomed in shot.

Now that the most I've ever seen anything retract in a tank. Surely this is normal right?

In my experience they do this every 2-3 days, we just don't always see it.... Everyone likes to poop in private lol

As long as it isn't a daily thing, and color stays normal, it should be fine. Just watch for loss of color and spending long periods of the shriveled shrunken look.

Speaking of clowns. I had to separate mine tonight. The, slightly, bigger one has chased and bullied the other a ton over the last week or so. To the point that, I assume she, made him stay in a little cave unless it's feeding time. I checked on them tonight and he was very faded. I put him in the sumo to give him a break. I wish I could've gotten her moved but I could not. Has anyone ever seen one start to fade like that? He was eating just fine and swimming just fine but I did notice his fins were tattered a small amount. I'll let him recover for a week or so and move him back in to see how it goes.

Went to JKS Aquatics this afternoon and picked up an Ultra BTA. It's in the tank now. I placed it next to the Acid Rain BTA. Fingers crossed it stays there. Here's a couple pics. I'll get some more once it opens up more.
