Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum but not the hobby [emoji4]

Been consulting this forum since my saltwater (and freshwater) days but while that was fulfilling then, I just didn't have the time needed to maintain a reef aquarium.

But I'm back in the hobby! This time with a brand new (my old ones had cracked due to mishandling) 22g long freshwater, "somewhat planted" aquarium. It's currently on its first week of cycling so I only have one plant in it and a very smart betta.

It's been years since I last had an aquarium so I'm in need of a refresher course. And pet shop advise just can't be trusted [emoji23]

I'm looking forward to learning more through hobbyists who have more factual knowledge about the hobby and not some sales pitch from local pet stores.

I have to say it's great to be back in the hobby, I've missed the fulfillment of owning an aquarium!
