Hello everyone!!
I've read a lot of threads here , watch a couple of BRStv video on YouTube, search a bit on other Internet sites and ask questions in my LFS, but now I'm a little lost in all those differents infos. It seems to have more than one road to success in reefing.
I just wanted some help from experimented reefers on your road to success and your opinions on the material I'm looking for.

I've actually bought a FLUVAL flex saltwater 32.5gals, as I wanted a AIO, not too big , not too expensive, not too complicated for my first experience.
But here are my hesitations on other materials: as I am french Canadian in Quebec, I have not access to everything like you guys in USA;;

- I've already ordered a Intank media basket like a couple of you suggested, but to put inside???
- Powerhead: 2x Hydor koralia 3rd generation + smartwave controller OR 1x ecotech mp10 OR AI Nero 3 ????
-Skimmer : Tunze 9001 OR Eshopps nano OR else ????
-Maybe Tunze 152 nano ATO ???
- 20pounds of Arag-alive special grade sand
- And about the rock, where I am, I have no access to wet live rock so I must take dry ones.
At first I was looking at Caribsea Liferock maybe 20 or 40 pounds... But I've heard about Marco ReefRock . Witch one is the best for long term.
And the big question, what's the best step-by-step startup with those rocks??? What's your best video or internet site to learn step-by-step startup???

Sorry for that long thread and all those questions...
thank you very much...

Ok here is my totally not helpful reply....

Any of the items you asked about will work just fine! ;)

For Powerheads I like koralias but I do have to replace them about every 2 years due to leaking voltage. If your going with alot of sps corals you'll want strong Powerheads.

For rock the more you can get the better. Just rinse it off and get it in some saltwater with an ammonia source and some bottled bacteria.

I don't like live sand. It probably has some good bacteria in there but it is mostly a bag of overpriced dead stuff. Dry sand is cheaper and works fine (live or dry, make sure you rinse it good).

A 32g aio sounds perfect to start out with. Good luck and welcome to the club!

Oh and for skimmers I know there are some great expensive options out there but if your cheap like me this thing works great
