I've never seen one of these colonies in person. It seems this is a pretty sought after coral, but i cant say photos have ever impressed me much. I am drawn to the fact it is supposed to be very hardy and a quicker grower.

Is it one of those corals that just looks better in person than in photos?

Does it look good in whiter light threw the glass or just top down blues?

Is it just a coral that has bland frags but grows into a beautiful colony?

Just trying to understand why it's sough4 after by so many.

Its a decent coral. I like it and it can take quite a bit. I had my nitrates get away from me and it still doing good. I can never get a good pic of it with my phone
